Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 'Ackney. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and fairly dry palate. Tangy dark malts into bitterish esters. Very tangy fruits. Some floral bitter hop. Light dry finish. Okay in very small doses.

Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, fine carbonation. Finishes with berries and dark fruit and more liquorice. Pretty good.
