13/7/2019. On tap at The Beer Cellar, Exeter. Pours cloudy dull amber gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is not what was expected, herbs, toffee, Thai salad, overripe banana. Sorachi Ace hops? Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Curious brew, grower, but not what I’d expected.

Tap @ Beer Cellar, Exeter. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are sorachi ace hops, alcohol, fruits, citrus and has an odd finish. Disappointing.

Half Pint at Beer Cellar, pours a murky dark orange with a ring of white head. Nose is big, a lot of booze, some very cidery notes too, brandy, vinous, some blood orange. Flavor has a lot of the booze, a bit of leather, orange peel, brandy, heavy apple cider. Finishes full bodied, prickly, boozy.
