This beer is an adaptation of a wheat beer brewed in Berlin known as a Berliner weiss. This is a cloudy blond coloured beer lightly tinted by the fruits which are steeped in it: either strawberry, raspberry or blueberry depending on the time of year. It is a highly acidic beer due to the lactic fermentation which takes place. Its aromas are acid, tart, and fruity.A light tasting beer, its acidity is quickly felt on each side of the tongue before leaving all the room for the wonderful fruity taste.

0,15 tap. Unclear red, almost no head. A lot of strawberries, lactic acid, red currant, strawberry syrup, lemon. Acidic sourness. Medium bodied, oily watery texture, soft carbonated, dry sour finish. Good however lacks hazyness in my opinion.

Re-rate: Needed a fourth beer to fill out the flight and this had a good rating, but was a different experience... Poured from the tap. Clear bright red with small white head. Decent amount of raspberry, tart and jammy, slightly subdued flavour with a hint of yogurt. Hoping this isn't a dirty tap issue. Sept 28, 2019 (8/3/8/4/17=4.0): Poured from the tap. Cloudy red (like Clamato juice) with almost no pinkish head. (real) Raspberry with light tartness, mild lactose. Great blend with a fitting texture.

Bottle from Secret Santa. Pinkish red color. Smells like a raspberry icecream from Van der Poel in Hengelo. Sweet and sour flavor with loads of lemon and raspberries. Really delicious!

(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 21 Oct 2018) Dark red colour with lasting, pink head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of fresh raspberries, red fruit and bread. Fruity, slightly tart taste with raspberries, cherries, bread and a clean, dry and slightly tart finish. Medium body, dry. Clean and refreshing with lots of fresh raspberries and a balanced acidity, Excellent.
