A collaboration beer brewed by Adnams and Boston Brewery Harpoon, using the best of ingredients from the East Coast of England and East Coast of USA. Arabella is named after the ship that took beer from the UK to the US early settlers. It’s an Extra Strong Bitter brewed with pale ale, chocolate, crystal and wheat malts. We add English hops to the kettle which produce gentle floral notes, and then dry-hop with American Cascade to give those punchy, pine aromas.

18/5/2019. Can from Adnams Shop in Bury St Edmunds, shared at the Warsaw GP beer share. Pours clear amber with an average sized bubbly off-white head. Aroma of hops, fruit, pine, caramel, resin and malt. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Bittersweet caramel finish. Nice aroma and good look, but didn't taste so good.

Cask @ Grove, Huddersfield. Clear copper with a frothy head. It's hoppy and malty with the latter just dominating its taste.

Cask handpull at The George Tunbridge Wells. Clear mid brown colour lasting beige head. Looks like a bitter. Decent Adnams yeast aroma. British malty sweetness with some OK hops on the finish . A decent best bitter. Likeable malt sweetness with some citrus lime hop finish. Really liked the aroma as it was so British. Good best bitter even if the hops are a but aggressive
