Can, 355 ml, via Sébastien Bertrand (merci!) on November 13, 2021, savoured on July 2, 2024; eye: black, opaque, no effervescence, ring and islands of beige head, no lacing; nose: bourbon, caramel, malt, coffee, light alcohol; mouth: bourbon, caramel, malt, coffee, light alcohol, light alcohol warmth, a-little-thin finale in in bourbon with a light presence of menthol, medium-bodied, average carbonation, lightly sweet, slick texture; in short: correct FRANÇAIS
Canette, 355 ml, via Sébastien Bertrand (merci!) le 13 novembre 2021, savourée le 2 juillet 2024; œil : noire, opaque, pas d’effervescence, anneau et îlots de mousse beige, pas de dentelle; nez : bourbon, caramel, malt, café, léger alcool; bouche : bourbon, caramel, malt, café, léger alcool, léger chaleur d’alcool, finale un peu mince en bourbon avec légère présence de menthol, corps moyen-corsé, carbonatation moyenne, légèrement sucrée, texture coulante; en résumé : correct

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large deep brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some bourbon, vanilla and black chocolate with light hazelnut notes also perceptible. Taste is a nice mix of roasted malt with some sweet residual sugar notes, some hazelnut, vanilla and bourbon notes with some creamy sweet black chocolate notes. Body is full with somewhat of a creamy texture with good carbonation and light subtle warming alcohol notes. Very well brewed and quite enjoyable.
