Bottle: Poured a hazy/cloudy pale yellow color ale with a medium white foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of dry floral hops notes with light citrusy notes is quite refreshing. Taste is a good mix of dry floral hops notes with some citrusy undertones and some smooth pale malt with light residual sugar notes. Body si full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Enjoyable but somewhat dryer then expected with nice oat malt base.

Bouteille 500ml. Couleur dorée voilée, mousse blanche tenace laissant une superbe dentelle. Arôme de pomélo, malt pâle, zeste de citron, houblon résineux, agrumes trop mûres. Goût de houblon résineux, citron, malt, bonne amertume, touche de levure, petit quelque chose qui me dérange, autant au nez, que je n’arrive pas à identifier. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen.

Monogamy is a usual, a cloudy blond with fluffy white head. Nose is fairly juicy tropical fruits and a little grass. Taste is grassy citrus with a notable bitterness, mild cereal malts supporting the whole deal. The bitter lingers but is not overwhelming. A solid sipper. I like it.

(On tap at Bar Hop, June 19 2014) Pours a lightly hazed pale gold with a fairly average receding white cap. Aroma bitter citrus zest, quite floral (a bed of gardenias came to mind). Flavour has lots of slightly bitter orange oil, again fairly floral, lightly sweet malts to start and moderately bitter, citrusy on the finish with a little grain coming through. Light to moderate mouthfeel and average carb, typical for Monogamy. This was by no means bad, and had expected Amarillo characters but didn’t quite have the all-out hop punch some of the series have had. Fairly well balanced but I kinda wish the flavors were bigger.
