Bottle. (thanks SirLimpsalot) Black with a creamy tan head. Fairly mild with dark malt, chocolate, caramel and hints of spices. The body was medium and the finish a bit on the sweet side.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color porter with a nice large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with black chocolate notes with some ginger notes clearly noticeable. Taste is a mix of roasted malt notes with some black chocolate notes some light spicy ginger notes with subtle residual brown sugar notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation with no real apparent alcohol notes. Well brewed porter with the right amount of ginger.

On tap at Apotekergaarden. Close to black in the glass, with a creamy finger thick light tan head leaving curtains. Roasted malts, coffee, some dark chocolate and a good ginger touch. Some pepper hints and a touch of rum. Didn't sense the lime though. It's full bodied, lightly warming and smooth on the palate, with some bitterness. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, some coffee, a pleasant ginger touch and burn and some dark sugar sweetness. Not really sweet on the palate though. Still no lime. Lasting roasted finish with ginger notes and piney, grapefruity notes. Wonderful. 180302
