Keg at The Real Greek, Reading. Stupid house beers of hidden origin, didn't realise this was Shep's, would have gone for one of the real Greek beers in bottles if I'd known. Should be called The Fake Greek, not the Real Greek. Anyway, ranting aside it's a clear golden-amber colour with a thin white head and a faint fizz. There's a bit of caramel, a bit of white bread, a bit of grass, a bit of grapefruit, and a whole lot of dull. A very safe, inoffensive, boring pale ale. Still, at least the food was surprisingly decent for a chain.
