[ As Quirky Ales Ruby ].Clear medium to dark amber - red orange color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wood, sweet malt, sugary. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, wood, caramel, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161129] 6-3-5-3-10

Pigs Ear Fest. Cask. Light haze on this deep amber beer, bubbly white head. Palate is light and dry, modest fine carbonation. Odd and off flavours of wood and soap. Dry finish. Pretty grim.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’16, 29/11/16. Reddish amber with a light beige covering. Nose is sweet malts, biscuit, red berry whisper, fruit tang. Taste comprises brown sugar, brown bread, light fruit esters. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close - rather watery and thin overall. Not good.

Cask gravity at the pigs ear beer fest 2016. A brown amber coloured pour with no head. Aroma is silage wet grass, brown sugars, dirty farmyard. Flavour is composed of wet dog, wet grass, silage, thin. Palate is light thin, moderate carbonation dirty. Pretty bad.
