We have used 8 varieties of hops … Celeia, Fuggle, Pioneer, Mt Hood, Rakau, dry hopping with Idaho 7, Mosaic and Simcoe.
There may be a slight haze, this is expected from such hop intense ales

Godt i sommervarmen. Beskjeden humlearoma.

Cask at the Prince George, Milton Keynes. Light amber with a white head and a gentle fizz. Full bodied. Lots of juicy tropical fruits (pineapple, mango and orange) against a sweet, malty caramelly base. Negligible bitterness; really quite sweet. Like the flavours, but definitely a bit sweet for summer. Would have liked a bit more crispness in the finish. An odd one; once again a traditional brewer has tried to go crafty and failed to get it right, but at least this particular effort isn't insipid and does have some flavour and interest. In fact, it may be the best brew I've had from McMullen.
