(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 25 Nov 2018) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of caramel, chocolate, coffee and dark fruit. Malty, roasted taste with caramel, chocolate, coffee, dark fruit and a mild coffee bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced with a mild coffee character. Nice one.

Cask @ Cafe Beermoth, Manchester. Very dark and very dry tasting, with burnt roasted malts abundant in both aroma and taste. Has a thick creamy-frothy head.
