330ml bottle from Cornelius. Pours golden, light haze, thin white head. Aromas of faint sherbet, lime, green peppers. Taste is bitter, spicy. Overly bitter, and also annoyingly cloying, finish.

Bottle which was actually 6.2%. Appearance - amber with a slight haze. Nice fluffy head. Nose - green, then honey. Taste - more floral honey. Palate - medium bodied with a rich and tangy texture and a finish that manages to be bitter but somehow still cloying. Overall - lacks the zing I’d expect from the Belgian yeast.

Bottle at home. Pours deep orange, nose is yeasty toffee, spiced, taste is chewy toffee, puff candy, fruity.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Murky golden/amber body with a thick white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of candy, strawberry laces and orange peel and chalky yeast. Flavour of pineapple, yeast and a peppery finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Very dry (which I like). I’m not a fan of this waxed bottle malarky - all a bit unneccessary...

Hazy amber beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Mildly bitter yeast. Mellow esters. Dry seltzer. Bitter dry finish. As with the other 2 waxed Tyne Bank bottles, dry and disappointing.
