Kings Arms. Cask. Almost clear pale gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is light and smooth, just modest fine carbonation. Light pale malts, not that sweet. Floralness precedes aggressive Simcoe - mild citrus but then very good dose of bitterness that edges toward harsh. Trace of esters before a bitter dry finish. Small beer, muscular bitterness!

Cask at The Bridge Tavern, Newcastle Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light citrus, light malt. Taste is sweet, malty finish.
