Cask, handpump at The Royal Oak, Southwark/Borough, Thursday 30th October 2014. Pours deep gold with a slight head atop. Aroma is malt driven, in the mouth it is malty but also with a bitter edge, quite thick mouthfeel. Tastes stronger than 5%, I am unsure whether I like it, but have to conclude it is in superb nick. I don’t like the bitterness at all, it isn’t very integrated. Ok A7 A4 T5 P3 Ov12 3.1
