Can at home in London - picked up at Offie & Toffee. Pours deep brown with a thick, creamy khaki head. The nose holds toasted brown bread, dusty cocoa, hints of roast, some dried berries. Medium sweet flavour with creamy chocolate character, a little burnt caramel, more toast, some coffee grounds, mild earthy bitterness, coffee ice cream, raisins. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation and velvety texture, Finishes sweetly, with further cocoa, light roast, nips of caramel, sweet coffee, some burnt nuts, further restrained earthy bitterness. Pretty solid overall. Nice depth for the ABV.
