Clear reddish brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, little dark chocolate. Mild floralness and tangy fruits. Chillies? A very light touch of. Light finish. Fairly drinkable.

Bottle. Near black, with a thin, beige, head. Aroma of coffee and plain chocolate. Dense, toasty flavour, with some more chocolate and a touch of chilli warmth in the finish. Fine.

500ml bottle shared with AshtonMcCobb. Pours deep, dark brown, light ruby chink. Aromas of chocolate, light dark sugar notes, fruit too. Taste has a light burn, very dry, more cocoa. Thin texture, light spicy burn, but a light touch with it. Good.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - very dark brown with a damson tinge around the bottom of the glass. Nose - chocolate and candied sugar. Taste - milk chocolate then raisins. A hint of delicate spice but not much. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - good beer. Not sure I get all the added ingredients.

Cask gravity at CPBF 2014. It pours dark brown with no head. The nose is roasted malt, chocolate, chill spice, cake, mild acidity and rocky road. The taste is roasted malt, toast, chocolate, faint chilli, pepper, vegetal with a dry, lightly spicy finish. Light-medium body and low carbonation. Decent enough balance, but a touch thin. Smells good though...
