Cask (gravity) @ 32th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2015, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Beer Nouveau Satanic Mills ].Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, sweet malt, dark malt, sugary. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, burnt, sweet malt, sugary, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151201] 6-2-6-3-12

Cask @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Black with a frothy off-white head. Very strong tasting, but full-bodied with a dense texture and chocolate roasted malts. Was also available at the Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2016 at the same time.

Pigs Ear Day 1. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, a few pale tan bubbles. Thin dark malts, some roasty bitterness. Rich dark fruits, prune and raisin evident. Dry finish. Okay, bit dry.
