[ As Saimaan Brewer’s Special Joker Hop Ale 3. erä ].Unclear - hazy matt medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, cereal, pale malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus - grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, fruity malt, pale malt, grass, bread - cereal notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160710] 5-3-5-3-10

Mielenkiintoinen konsepti, jos ei muuta. Kyse siis siitä, että jokaisessa erässä humalalajikkeet vaihtuvat ja jokainen erä on siten ikäänkuin uusi olut. Kolmas erä on väriltään aavistuksen utuinen, kullankeltainen olut hyvin pienellä vaahtokerroksella. Tuoksu on maltainen, viljainen, kukkainen ja aavistuksen marjainen. Maussa maltaisuutta ja greippistä katkeruutta aavistuksenomaisella kukkaisuudella ja marjaisuudella höystettynä. Hedelmää tästä ei löydy, kuten kakkoserästä. Tasapainoinen, mutta hieman mielenkiinnoton.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Cloudy golden, small head. Peachy, grass and mango up front. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and somewhat bready with mango, papaya and hay leading to a long bitter finish.

Slightly hazy yellow color, small white head. Grainy aroma, a bit overriped raisiny "sima"-like nose. Light-bodied. Some fruityness in the front but then bitter and even harsh, grainy finish. Long lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. This is bitter and perharps the best batch so far but still lacks balance and fruityness.

Canned (from Prisma, Vaasa). Hazy murky orange colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity, some floral notes as well as some toffee and mild grainy notes. Flavour is floral, fruity, some sweet malts and mild grains to it. Sadly, the aftertaste gets quite harsh in this one, otherwise it was quite ok.

33cl can from S-market, Korso. Poured murky amber in color with a thin white head. Biscuity notes, some tangerine and grainy malts. Bit harsh. Flavor has leafy, biscuity, malty notes. Short, bitter finish. Least drinkable of the three.

(Can, 0.33 l, 20151030) The beer poured muddy golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, soap and paper. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, fruitiness, paper, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A rather messy brew.
