Gravity cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. It pours a deep gold with a loose off-white head. Floral aroma, a little bit of white grape and gooseberry. Taste sweet on the front with a gentle but firm bitterness nearer the finish. Some lip smacking savoury character provided by the wheat. Aftertaste is quite bitter with more notes of gooseberry. This is nice, nothing world beating but not as ho-hum as previous rates suggest.
