Poured from a 16 oz can dated February 11, 2019. Aroma is full of fruity esters and hop notes. Stone fruit, mango, papaya, guava, orange, grapefruit and resin. Light cracker malt notes. Pours a slightly hazy, cloudy, yellow gold with a medium sized, thick, pillowy white head that slowly recedes to a small film that lingers on the edges. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with medium light cracker malt notes and a bit of dryness in the finish. High, but not biting bitterness and faint alcohol notes. Medium light fruity esters with stone fruit most prevalent. Moderately strong hop notes of tropical fruit, citrus and resin. Mango, papaya, orange and grapefruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice IPA. I do wish they would dial back the esters a bit and let the hops do a bit more of the talking.
