Amber, bright, med smoke, sort of a sticky amber malt, light caramel. Ale-like. It’s okay, the peat comes across a bit harsh on this malt base

5oz pour at the main Stone brewery on Easter Monday, 6th April 2026. Clean and clear amber body, wispy white head. Scorched earth aroma and initial taste, not my thing really, but I enjoyed the experience; one of eight 5oz pours taken during the session (after a day in the heat walking around the San Diego Safari Park.
