This beer is from the evil brewer who likes to walk on the dark side and embrace wild yeast and bacteria. Ketser is a deep red ale fermented with Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus, and Pediococcus. The result is a sour and tartly acidic beer with fruit flavors of dark cherry, plum and currant. It offers a refreshing mouthfeel with a deeply complex character. Welcome to the dark side.

Bottle from Honest Brew. Vinous and vinegar aroma, with a fruity edge. Opaque ruby amber. Creamy off-white head soon fades. Heavy sour. Berries. Grape skins into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Dry astringent finish. Sour and dry but not overly so. Decent sipper.

Tap. Hazy ruby color with white head. Aroma is cherries, wood, leather, tobacco, rather fresh. Taste is fresh yeast, leathery, earthy. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Good!

Tap at Ammutsøn. Hazy dark amber, golden creamy foam. Pleasant berry marzipan croissant. A hint cider like tartness. Medium light body, tart dry,. Cherry, wood, iodine, acid, tayberry finish.

Draught @ BAF 2017 [ Borefts After Festival: BAF! ] @ Brouwerij Kaapse, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Tanker Ketser ].Unclear - hazy medium red - yellow amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, spicy, red fruit - berry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidicr with a long duration, berries, sweet malt, tart notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170924] 6-3-7-3-13

Beautiful, orange brown beer. Aroma has apple. Taste has apple, sour and cinnamon. A bit like cider. Interesting and tasty overall. Medium body and carbonation.
