Taster at KEG. Copperish ruby pour with an off-white head. Nose is fruity, full of esters, with a hint of funk and acids. Taste is surprisingly smooth estery fruityness, with vague acidic character and earthy/barnyard brett notes with barely and funk. Light to medium bodied, surprisingly-not-dry bodied. Interesting, not bad by far, but surely not the greatest example of the style.

Bottled. Reddish brown colour with a huge off-white creamy head. Gusher warning. Out of 4 bottles of this beer on a big tasting, 3 made fountains even when fridge cold. Aroma is tart wood, some red berries and mild yeast. Flavour is rather similar, with a rather mouth drying palate. The thing is, it feels like a proper sour, but also had some infected sourness to it...

Tap at Fakin. Shiny copper body, white head. Creamy berry aroma, more sweetish than tart, lightly acetic. Smooth taste bursting with cherries, very much smooth, some acetic notes. I actually liked this a LOT. An excellent tamer take on the style.

On tap at Fakin Zagreb. Ruby red coloured, small white to off-white head that went away fast, sourish red wine nose. Fruity, light caramel, notes of red wine and some plums with woody touch in the finish. Bit unbalanced but ok.

On tap at Fakin Craft Bar. Almost clear amber, medium creamy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, red fruit, juicy, some acidity, red wine, touch of spice, pepper, wood. Light vinegar, light phenolic. Touch of burnt plastic. Flavour is fruity, also phenols, smoke or plastic. Moderate to high sourness. Finishes sour, puckering. No alcohol felt. Smooth texture, medium body, soft carbonation, lasting sourness.

Clear red beer, no head. Aroma: lots of lactobacillus, very fruity, berries, bit of vinegar, nice. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice acidity, some tannins, fruity, lemon juice, vinegar notes, very refreshing. Aftertaste: acidic, lots of lemon juice, soft bitterness, some tannins, good one!
