Part IV of the Seeker IPA Series. Our friends at Pinthouse Pizza in Austin make some of the finest hoppy beer in all of the land. last year, our R&D brewer Tom Fischer spent two weeks working with them, and this beer is his tribute to their style of IPA. a simple yet characterful malt base is the platform for big additions of Citra, Simcoe, and Galaxy hops. we secured a special batch of haze from the Pinthouse crew to use in this beer. 2018 update: wow Tom likes Austin and Pinthouse so much that he even left Breakside to go and work for them. our loss, their gain, and Texas could use a guy like Tommy anyhow…

Hazy, really hazy body with white head. Tangerine aroma. Sweet citrus with a malt edge taste. Citrusy finish. Medium body. One of the Seeker IPA series.

Super hazy, but aims to find a middle ground between New England and West Coast IPAs, offering up outsized juicy notes mixed with a lingering mineral-pine bitterness. Loads of grapefruit, passion fruit, citrus pith, lime, and wood, leading to a refreshingly bracing hop bite on the finish. Not as pillowy a texture as you want in such a haze bomb, but drinkable nonetheless.

On tap at Uptown. Pours a hazy yellow color, super hazy, a small white head. A big pulp fruity nose. Husky, light pine, lemons, big orange pulp. Solid.
