OK, so this is a craft that should look, or at least taste, like a cheap pale lager? Well its not clear pale, there is a slight haze to it, needs more filtering. Also the nose is a little off not quite as clean as most macro lagers. The taste is on par with a cheap pale lager; fairly refreshing and not offensive to the lager lover. Goes down somewhat easy. I'm thinking its on par with Pennsylvania style lager made over there in Latrobe by city Melanie brewing. It lacks the civility of a clean Straub. Not bad, has very few, if any, rude ass ale characteristics; and I appreciate that. I just don't know why I need to pay 5 times the price of a cheap pale lager to drink a craft pale lager, what-ever.

12oz can. Poured a golden color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was corn grain, grass. Barley. Light sweetness. Easy to drink. I think they hit the nail on the head here.

Barley and corn nose. Shimmering yellow, thin head. Barley and honey. Light body, moderate carbonation. It has the honeyed sweetness of a foreign lager. Better than macro

Straightforward, easy-drinking, unexpectedly grainy, with notes of toasted corn, cereal, and grass, leading to a floral finish backed up by hints of red apple and hay. Better than expected.
