Above-average Mexican lager, offering up notes of toasted corn and grass with a lemon-tinged yeasty undertone and a slight floral bitterness on the back end. Bread and corn in the fade. Decent, if conventional.

Poured a pale golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was some light grassy notes, with some grain, light sweet malts. Crisp finish, not too sweet. Decent.

Shaker pint draft at the Refuge on the Isle of Palms, South Carolina. The pour is a pale golden with not much of a white head. The aroma is faint cereal grain with a bit of hay. The taste is fresh and clean cereal grain malt with hay and a bit of citrus near the back. The palate is light bodied with low carbonation and a clean dry mineral finish. Solid.
