Draft at the Virginia Beach brewery. Poured a clear orange-hued yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was big juicy resin, almost a soapy initial aroma - maybe just a big floral hop note. Big orange, resin and flowers. Light herbal notes, big citrus character finishes this one out. Alcohol pretty well masked in this one.

Super clear copper, orange and peach coloured body with a very thin, half centimetre tall off-white and tan head. Aroma of grapes, white wine, cleanser, pine, flowers, resin, alcohol, metal and grass - quite strong without any malt noticeable in the nose. Medium-bodied; Very crisp, grassy, herbal and floral hops show at first with a light metallic and slightly stone fruity bite, with a tiny bit of malt coming through and a crisp, almost honey-like sweetness at the end, sort of on top of all the hop bitterness. Aftertaste is very crisp, grassy, herbal, showing some slight astringency, but more of the white wine and Sauvignon Blanc notes than anything else with some apricot and peach sweetness towards the end that has a fairly nice balance. Overall, a nice, very crisp Imperial IPA that tastes closer to 8,0 per cent, but the Sauvignon Blanc and Vinifera grape notes are the strongest, dry flavours in a good way. Nice to sample fresh...good to try and recommended enough if you like crisper Imperial IPAs. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 12-September-2020 for US$4,79 sampled at my house here in Washington on 12-October-2020.

Alluring and intriguing, flowing with grapefruit, lemon drops, melon, peach, mint, and hints of dank, set against a moderate grainy sweetness and a modest bitter finish. Fade brings out touches of cedar, berry, and resin. Soft, easygoing texture combines with a medium-full body to create a ridiculously easy-to-drink 9% IIPA. Delicious.
