Bottle, Oak loft 2024, #L287B, eight years before bbd. Pours pitch black, with a rocky mocha head. Aroma is dark roasted malts with bread, chocolate, muscovado, almonds and liquorice, as well as vanilla, tannins and bourbon barrels. Full body, with very soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet roasted malts with rye bread, dark chocolate, muscovado and sweet liquorice, as well as tannins and bourbon barrels.

Relativt pålitelige notater fra godt besøkt føradventsmøte i Jæren Fråholdslag. Vi jobber effektivt med kveldens agenda, og der er naturligvis ikke et promillefritt blodomløp i sikte i det vi gyver løs på denne 0,375 flasken. Brunsvart med svært kort skum. Mørke kokoschokolader, røde bær, bourbon, karameller og vaniljesaus. I søteste laget for meg, men den holder meg fint i skjæringspunktet mellom klarsyn og kognitiv tåke.

Bottle. An almost black one, unclear, oily and headless. The aroma is roasted and lightly burnt, with dark chocolate and some brown sugar. Oak and booze. Some licorice. It’s full-bodied and warming, very gently carbonated, with quite a lot of sweetness. Roasted malts, booze, toffee, brown sugar and dark dried fruit in the flavor. Some oak notes and dark chocolate. Hints of licorice. Lasting warming and sweet finish. Complex, tasteful and moreish. 241130
