A brown ale with notes of sweet cinnamon, sticky bread and brown sugar.

Brewed in collaboration with Deanston Bakery for Beernomicon’s Cvlt Of Independence event, the Belgian-style brown ale grist provides a soft, rounded foundation for cinnamon spice, creating layers of dried fruit, bread dough, caramel and chocolate with a subtly citrus edge

Can at Pot Still. It pours clear deep reddish - brown with a medium fluffy beige head. The aroma is rich, toothy, brown bread, warming cinnamon, definite cinnamon bun vibes, nutmeg, doughy, raisin, sultana, touch of cinnamon custard and a touch of nuttiness. The taste upfront is dry, toasty grain, brown bread, bitter - sweet, light sourness, toothy, light tannin, dried fruits, sultana, raisin, nuttiness, cinnamon is there but well judged, nutmeg, toasted brown sugars, doug and sticky cinnamon bun with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Well judged all round. Not too sweet thankfully. Tasty.

Hazy brown beer, thick off white head. Smells like... Well, a bit like a cinnamon bun. Flavour has a good whack of sweet cinnamon up front, a little malty and bready. A hint of citrus zest. A bit watery in the finish but not bad.
