Poured from 473mL can (pkg 10/24/2024). Very dark brown with small tan head. Nice roasty nose with mild peppermint. Taste is lots of peppermint upfront with underlying roast malt and a feint hint of chocolate. Very nice base beer with a novelty adjunct.

16 oz. can, pours jet black with a medium tan head. Aroma is loaded with peppermint, maybe a hint of white chocolate, and a robust roasted malt base. Flavour is much the same, with a less overpowering than expected peppermint character, hearty roasted malt, and a dash of espresso. Finishes with a beautiful peppermint character, low sweetness, and just enough roastiness. Way exceeded my expectations.

1 pint can. Pours black with short tan head. Aromas of chocolate mint candies with some vanilla and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same though mint is a bit more subdued although still quite prominent. As advertised… OK

Dark sweet malty with notes of chocolate, some caramel and toffee malty sweetness, the peppermint is nicely balanced, after eight minty, creamy malty mouthfeel and body, nice dark sweet mint infused finish. Fun stuff.

Pitch black colour with small beige head.Aroma is sweet taste like after eight chocolate and do still have a bit roasted after taste nice dark chocolate and mild coffee taste to nice not to sweet taste.

0,473l can from Drikbeer advent calendar, #16. Almost black beer with medium, quite stable head. Aroma is huge peppermint. Flavor has chocolate and peppermint with some roasted malts.
