The quintessential English mid strength ale – a perfect balance of malt and subtle hops.
This fine deep amber-coloured beer has a good bitter sweet balance, this beer has a subtle hop character described as citrus and spicy from Goldings and Fuggels. It’s a refreshing and very satisfying pint.

Nice creamy head and rather opaque brown body. Good hoppy graham cracker on the nose. Flavour is nice soft pumpernickel, dark rye. Crisp hoppy finish but a little thin on the mouth. Refreshing tho.
