The quintessential English mid strength ale – a perfect balance of malt and subtle hops.

This fine deep amber-coloured beer has a good bitter sweet balance, this beer has a subtle hop character described as citrus and spicy from Goldings and Fuggels. It’s a refreshing and very satisfying pint.

Cask at Temple Brew House. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is toasty, grainy, sweet orange, brown bread, varnish and leaf. The taste is bitter-sweet, stewed orange/tangerine, peppery spice, earth and bread with a very dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Good condition. Decent drop.
