(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 2023, from the brewery, 20211015) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, vanilla, wood and mildly vineousness. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, wood, vineousness, cocoa powder, vanilla, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, woody and bitter. A pleasant dry and burnt brew with balanced barrel notes.

Daym, top notch for a finnish stout. Sweet, thick, lots of dark chocolate, some bourbon, some barrel. Nice!

Bottle at Peffy's Residence, Espoo. Color is dark brown with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavours: Cacao, chocolate, some barrel aged elements and roasted malts. OK.

330ml bottle from the brewery. Smooth, sweetish and slightly stingy woody with some akvavit notes, loads of cocoa, vanilla, hints of bourbon, toffee and caramel. Aroma has a bit too much stingy akvavit notes, but luckily the taste is more balanced. Pretty nice, but would've probably worked better with just bourbon barrel aging.

0,33l bottle from the brewery shop, Otaniemi, Espoo. Very dark brown beer with small beige head. Aroma has roasted malts, vanilla, cocoa and chocolate. Alcohol is very minimal on aroma. Flavor has roasted malts, coffee, vanilla, spices, bourbon and hops. Sweet, but in very good balance with spices and hops. Wonderful!
