330ml bottle [slow but permanent gusher]. Jet black colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Roasty dark malty, chocolately aroma, notes of coffee, lactose, a touch of hundreds and thousands, strawberry, wood, tobacco. Taste is sweet, roasty dark malty chocolately, slightly sugary, hints of roasted nuts, some coffee, liquorice, some warming alcohol; lingering, sweet sugary finish, oily texture, slightly sticky palate.

0.33 l bottle from ’BierPost.com’, best before April 2017. Gusher! Black with a massive, frothy, quickly diminishing, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, quite roasty aroma of lots of coffee, dark chocolate, some vanilla, hazelnut and hints of dark fruits. Quite sweet, malty, rather roasty taste of lots of coffee, dark chocolate, some licorice, hazelnut, vanilla and some dark fruits, followed by a long, roasty-bitter, slightly warming finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very tasty stuff, would be great if it wasn’t such a gusher!

12-03-17 // 330ml bottle at home. Heavy gushing! Dark black beer, huge head because of the gushing, after sitting a while it provides a small dark beige head. Intense coffee and chocolate in the nose. Taste is very sweet, loads of coffee, roasted matls, some chocolate, some milk and lactose. Texture is almost oily, silky, but very smooth. Solid beer.

Stark karbonisierter Beginn. 12/10/8/10/12/11
