Bottle. Pours clear blush, small off white head, decent lacing. Aroma is cherry, oak, bugs, dust, mineral notes. Flavor is delicately tart, light plus funk. Nice cherry notes. Light body, soft mouthfeel. GR8.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is moderately cherry forward with nice tart cherry notes along with some tannins from the skins and a touch of cinnamon. Light SARA funk adds some lemon and green grape notes. Hints of oak. Light grain and alcohol notes. Pours a hazy, copper amber color with a medium large, thick, frothy head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers on the edges. Faint lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light acidity with light grain notes. Medium low bitterness and light alcohol notes. Hints of oak. Moderately strong tart cherry notes with lighter notes of cherry wine and cinnamon. Hints of SARA funk adds some lemon and green grape notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid tart cherry saison. It's not too acidic which is nice but I sort of wonder why the choice to use tart cherries in the first place. I'm not sure acidity helps the SARA saison profile unless it's very faint. I feel like the cherries cover up the barrel notes which are always so great when they use the cherry wine barrels.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is cherry skin, oak, funk, yeast. Slick body, funk, sweet cherry, oak, nice tartness, very nice.
