Dark brown. The aroma is a whack of coffee, with a light bit of coconut. There's a lot of coffee on the palate...a bit of coconut, a slight bit of acidity. The balance is off here, mind you. That whether it's juiciness or whatever, it's not ideal.

500mL bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of intense bourbon barrels, rich dark roasted coffee, and a touch of coconut. Flavour has a sort of green peppery coffee, alcoholic bourbon barrels, and somewhat harsh vanilla (almost like extract) – not getting the coconut. Something is not exactly right – either it’s the coffee or the vanilla. It’s good, but far from the heights that Bottle Logic is capable of.

500mL bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Lots of bourbon, cocoa, and coffee on the nose; lots of vanilla as well. Flavour has lots of vanilla, coffee, bourbon barrels. I think the coffe is coming through as green peppers in a particularly odd way. Something is very weird here that I cannot place. This does not come together.

Tap. Pours opaque black, medium brown head, decent lacing. Aroma is fudge, bourbon, maple, vanilla. Flavor is sweet, light plus bitter. Full body, creamy. Good.
