West Coast IPA - Every year we travel to Washington to carefully choose the best hops from the American Pacific Northwest. In the rooms where we select these hops focus is paramount and it feels as if time stands still. Timeland is a West Coast IPA that is brewed with three of those hops: Mosaic, Citra and Idaho 7 - a perfect triumvirate to bring the heaviest dankness, citrus, pine and guava tang.

Pint can pours with a clear gold colored body that supports a thin bright white head of foam. The aroma is pulsing with inviting hoppiness that's tangelo and grapefruit as well as weedy spicy dankness. Very nice. The taste delivers near vibrant crisp hoppy notes that are bitter with grapefruit and a bit of pine as well as tangy tangerine flowing into softer notes of mango and melon. Wow. Toward the finish a thin fresh watermelon note bubbles to the surface. This is a banger. I love the hoppy depth, crispness and the very low sweetness. Dang. I'm going to need more of this.

16 oz. can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma has bright piney hops, plenty of tropical notes, and just enough biscuity malt. Flavour is very bright, with lots of bright piney hops, gentle tropical notes, melon, and a crisp biscuity malt. Piney, gently tropical, with a crisp, nicely bitter finish. Excellent.

Can. Pours a clear golden hue with a medium white head. A light sweet citrus nose. Smooth, pretty dank lemons at times, green, some sweeter hints, fairly balanced with bitterness. Smooth as ice.

Poured from an undated 16 oz can. Aroma is a hop forward blend of dank and fruit. Orange, grapefruit and tropical citrus with lighter passion fruit and guava notes. Quite a bit of dank, oily resin. Light cracker malt notes and light alcohol notes. Pours a clear, golden color with a medium sized, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes steadily to the edges where it lingers in clumps. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is a bit sweet with light cracker malt notes and a hint of caramel. Fairly high bitterness with light alcohol notes. Lots of orange, grapefruit and tropical citrus with lingering dank, oily resin and pine notes. Light passion fruit, lychee and guava notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid West Coast IPA. Really nice hop aroma with a bit of a more traditional West Coast hop flavor profile. Alcohol is well hidden and bitterness balances nicely with the hop notes.
