Can from Tavour: pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is citrusy, mango, some light dankness. Clean hazy IPA, which hits all the high marks of the style. Truth be told, I thought this was a better example than many OH beers I had recently.

Can from Tavour. Pours. hazy gold with a moderate white head. aroma is a mysterious thing. It might have some broccoli, and it might have some citrus. I think it surely does have a white berry and earth with a slight dank hint. Juicy, but lightly sweet. Bitter enough to balance. The broccoli seems to be turning into dank herb. Let’s call it weed. On reflection there seems to be a fair amount of Rozen, but it doesn’t seem to pine. This beer is amazingly hard for me to pass. Pretty good flavor.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated June 14, 2022. Aroma is fairly hop forward with lots of passion fruit, guava and tropical citrus. Lighter notes of gooseberry, stone fruit and dank, resin notes. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a very hazy, dull, dusty, golden straw color with a large, thick, pillow, white head that recedes very slowly to a small film that lingers. Fairly high amount of lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Fairly hop forward with lots of passion fruit, guava and peach. Lighter notes of gooseberry, tropical citrus and dank, oily resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really solid hazy IPA with a ton of galaxy character but it could use a bit more nelson. Balanced malt profile and bitterness with the alcohol well hidden.
