A blend of saison refermented on cherries. The 2023 harvest blend was created from a selection of Khorasan wheat saison, wheat and oat saison, and wheat saison which were fermented and aged in oak. This blend was refermented on Sandra Rose cherries grown organically at Collins Family Orchards. This beer was refermented to condition in the bottle with local raw Star Thistle honey.

On tap at Garden Path - Bellingham, pours a deep dark mahogany, syrupy cherry red with no head. Aroma has plenty of dark pithy cherries, light bugs, earthiness, thorns, and some gentle oak. Flavour is fairly buggy, with lots of fairly dry tart cherries, some pithy thorniness, wild bugs, some oak, and earthiness. Not the greatest clarity for a Floodland, but the wild yeast character is quite solid.

Pour at Dark Fields of Winter. Pours ruby. Aroma bright and fruity; a bit grassy. Flavour isn't super sour or tart; notes of raspberry and sour cherry. Enjoyable but not particularly complex.
