On tap at Garden Path - Bellingham, pours a deep dark mahogany, syrupy cherry red with no head. Aroma has plenty of dark pithy cherries, light bugs, earthiness, thorns, and some gentle oak. Flavour is fairly buggy, with lots of fairly dry tart cherries, some pithy thorniness, wild bugs, some oak, and earthiness. Not the greatest clarity for a Floodland, but the wild yeast character is quite solid.

Pour at Dark Fields of Winter. Pours ruby. Aroma bright and fruity; a bit grassy. Flavour isn't super sour or tart; notes of raspberry and sour cherry. Enjoyable but not particularly complex.

Purple, bubbly head. Good fruit, plum, cherry, soft body, supple acidity, cause who doesn't love that word. 4 7 8 4 16
