Original review text: Was lang geleden dat ik een springende kikker had gehad, daarbij gekocht om de rogge, geeft altijd meer smaak imo, body is wat dun, maar voor een 9.4% goed smaakvol. Overall lekker.

Bottle. Pours inky black, small brown head, good lacing. Aroma is cocoa, molasses, earth. Slang is light plus sweet, medium bitter, rye spice. Full body.

16 oz. can, pours jet black with a small brown head. Nose brings out a soft rye barrel character, with plenty of oats, and roasted barley. Flavour is rich and complex, with rich rye barrels, lots of oak, roasted barley, some dark sugars, and a hearty oat character. Rich, oaky, roasty and fairly dry with just enough residual sweetness. Excellent.
