8.1/10 β€” Appearance 8 Aroma 9 Flavor 8 Texture 8 Overall 7.5
Poured from a 16 oz can dated October 24, 2023. Aroma is hop forward and fruity with fairly strong notes of guava, papaya, tropical citrus, and grapefruit. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a somewhat clear, brilliant, yellow-gold with a medium large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers on the edges. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with medium light cracker malt notes. Medium bitterness and light alcohol notes. Flavor has moderate hop notes with grapefruit, tropical citrus and lighter notes of guava and papaya. Mouthfeel is medium to medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid pale ale. I really like this hop aroma, but the hop flavor isn't as impressive. Nice, fairly crisp, dry malt profile. Balanced bitterness and alcohol notes.
