On tap at the Oakland Arbor location. Aroma is malt forward with nice notes of toasted bread, nuts, caramel and honey. Hints of woody hop notes and a light alcohol note. Pours a very clear, brown color with some golden brown hues on the edges and a small, tan head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers before disappearing. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with notes of honey, toasted bread, caramel, nuts and graham crackers. Medium bitterness and light alcohol notes. Hints of woody, herbal hop notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied and a bit crisp with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really solid brown ale. Really nice malt profile with nice honey notes. Fairly crisp and easy drinking. Balanced bitterness with well hidden alcohol notes. I haven't had this style in a long time and it's pretty refreshing.
