Tap at Gourmet Haus. Pours cloudy chestnut brown with almost no head. Aroma is rich bread and dark fruit. Flavor is heavy malt and bread, with moderate amount of peat in the back half. Peat lingers long

Pours up on tap at tipsy where it exhibits a murky mahogany colored body that supports an off white head. The aroma offers up smooth smelling molasses and brown sugar dusted plums as well as modest boozy heat and subtle bourbon notes. The taste delivers smooth slick sweet rich boozy sweet malts moving into thin molasses and plum to date sweet dark fruity esters. Wow. Smooth slick sticky sipper with mild alcohol warming. Solid sipper.

Can. Pours unclear hazel with a small beige head and some lacing. Aroma is strong on the bourbon and oak tannins, toffee, caramel, alcoholic werthers. Flavor is quite sweet and light plus bitter. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Could be a bit more balanced, but pretty #BIL
