Tap@Skaal, Copenhagen (15/02/2020) - black with a tan head. Dark sweet and roasted malty with notes of cocoa and coconut, dark brown sugar, sweet toffeish notes, medium body, sweet dark malty finish.

Draft. A black beer with a huge brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coconuts, and dark chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and coconuts, leading to a dry finish.

ABV: 10.0%. Unclear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, cocoa, coconut, dark malt, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, coconut, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, vanilla, cocoa, light cake - cinnamon cake. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20190509]

On tap at RVK, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is very dessert like, with lots of cinnamon upfront, followed by cocoa and gentle coconut. Flavour reveals decadent cinnamon upfront, followed by coconut and cocoa. Sweet, but nowhere close to cloying. Rich, complex and nicely balanced. Excellent.
