Bottle from Left Field Beer. Almost black with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt, caramel, light dark chocolate, dried fruit and bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 041019

Bottle from Casks & Corks Soton and drunk at home. Black beer lasting tan head. Some barrel ageing on the aroma. Bit more BA in the mouth. Some chocolate. But quite a lot of bourbon. More bourbon than anything else. So not really for me.

Bottle via Eebria consumed at Music Night Village Hall, Merton, Oxon, Saturday 26th November 2016 Smooth and sumptuous the barrel ageing adds a creamy boozy indulgent richness. Soft in the mouth and there is a real vanilla edge, woodiness. Some creamy boozy chocolate, this is just lovely, dangerous at 9.8% but lovely. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov17 4.1
