Ölen du håller i din hand är en Extra Special Bitter (ESB). Denna numera klassiska öltyp såg dagens ljus 1969 då den bryggdes för första gången. I vår tolkning hittar du ett öl med stor kropp, doft av malt och söt frukt samt ett avslut med fin humlebeska.

Sample @ [ Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival 2016 ] @ Malmömässan, Mässgatan 6, Malmö, Sweden 21532. [ As Poppels Extra Special Bitter ].Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, herbs, vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, toasted, hebal - grass, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160402] 6-3-6-3-13

Tap@Malmo Øl Festival, Malmo - amber pour with white head. Toasty malty aroma and taste, nutty, some caramel , slight grassy, twiggy and herbal hoppy, bitter finish.

Bottle at SBWF2015. Nut brown color, small steady off-white head. Nutty, caramellly aroma. Medium-bodied. Light notes of toffee, pale maltyness. Diacetyl?? Sweet and simple. Uninspiring.
