As Greene King On the Head. A cask beer, amber copper coloured pour with a thin halo white head. Aroma.a is sweet nutty malts, tangy apple, terrible diacetyl flavour is semi sweet terrible brown sugars, raisin bread. Fucking terrible.

Clear, amber colored, small white head. Medium- malty sweetness, caramel, some apple notes, light herbal hops, light bitterness, dryish finish. Light+ bodied, soft-flat carbonation, watery.

Cask halfpint, as Bankside Inspector Morse IPA, at The Townhouse, Ely. ABV 3.9%. Copper colour, white head. Malty aroma, some toffee notes. Flavour of a standard bitter, some bittering hops, hints of berries, but not an IPA by any stretch of the mind. Not bad though.

13th May 2019. Hand-pulled half-pint at The Fox and Hounds, Shawbury Shropshire. As Bankside Inspector Morse IPA (no mention of Greene King). Clear and clean golden/amber body, tight white crown on top. Fairly sweet and fruity little number with a modern English IPA feel (think Greene King IPA with caramel). My sweet tooth liked it.

Opalescent dark golden to amber colour, minimal creamy off-white head; aroma of grape, malt, orange zest oils and biscuits; taste has the same notes with tropical fruityness and hints of honey; good one!
