Cask-conditioned at the Punchbowl (JDW), York 12/2/2020. Golden in colour, with a tight, white, head. A hoppy pale ale with plenty of sharo lemon fruit, citrus hops, biscuity malts and moderately dry finish. Fine.

Hoop & Grapes, Nicholsons. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Generally feels in good condition. Light malts, modest sweetness. Hops are mildly orange citrus and modestly bitter, certainly enough to maintain interest. Light finish. Nicely balanced and prety quaffable and I enjoyed my pint.
