Bottle 70 cl. Pours a clear burgundy with a light brown head. Rather complex aroma with licorice coming through, but also a woody character. Medium body, some roasty bitterness, burned caramel and spicy, flowery hops. A very complex beer and as usual one of Vestfyens best beers of the year. 060117

66 cl. bottle. Near black colour with a creamy, lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel, bread, chocolate, coffee, toasted notes, licorice, floral and earthy hops. Taste is sweet. Full body with an oily texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with with herbal and floral hops. Not that well balanced for my liking’s. A bit messy - wants to do too much at the same time.
