A fresh, tart and enlivening beer inspired by the greatest of all cocktails - the Negroni. Sweet black cherries balance the slightly soured base, playing with botanical notes and fruity hop bitterness. Oily orange zest lifts everything in harmony.

Can from Asda and drunk at home. Clear deepish red colour lasting pink head. Slight kettle sour aroma. Some sweet cherry aroma. Some herb some cherry. Not a lot of negroni flavour. Not a lot of sour either. Very much a kettle sour. As a fan of negroni it's a bit disappointing. Some sour finish. Bit disappointing.

440ml can. Poured a dark pink colour with a lasting thin white head. The aroma is big cherries. The flavour is moderate sour, with a somewhat light, crisp, tart cherry, light sweet vanilla palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. I’m no fruited sour fan, but quite liked this.

Can 44 cl. Pours a pretty, clear red with a neat, solid and lacing, creamy pink head. Dry, faint aroma of cherries. Very light body, super dry, spicy Vermouth notes and again faint cherry notes into the dry and slightly tart finish. Elegant and well made. 100124

Nice tartness. Black Cherry. It’s nice. Maybe not the most exciting but very easy drinking.

Can from the brewery online shop. Pours deep red with a thin pink-tinged head. Aromas of sour cherry and orange peel. Taste is more of the same light sour finish.
